Producing a feature film imposes constraints very different from those of a technology demo or a short film. Character continuity. Anatomical consistency. Motion control. Fidelity to reference imagery. Continuity between shots. Integration with live-action footage. High resolution. And several thousand generations needed to reach the final result. Akam is thus a full-scale testing ground for pushing a video generation technology to the demands of cinema.

Partners able to accompany the film through to its 4K cinema master: access to a generation capacity suited to a feature film, to the most advanced models and their evolutions, to a high-resolution workflow and, where relevant, to direct technical support. Our pipeline, AKAM Studio, was designed to remain modular. Our partners are not meant to supply every tool in the film: together, they are meant to become its strategic video generation engine.

In return, The Legend of Akam can become far more than a film that uses a technology. It can become a cinematic reference case. The chosen partners can be officially associated with the film and its communications, credited on-screen as technology partners, take part in content about the making of the film, and use this collaboration as a case study of a production carried out at feature-film scale. Making-of material, before/after demonstrations, festivals, industry gatherings and communication around the pipeline will document, concretely, the role technology played in the birth of the film.

We have spent more than thirty years filming wildlife as it truly exists. Generative AI now lets us tell the stories that nature alone could not give us. It is from this meeting that we want to give birth to Wildlife Fantasy.
